Cork people are dead friendly and have a great sense of humour! As a Dub I used to work there for part of the week and had a great time. They're very passionate about the city and county, current affairs, sport, culture and having a good time. Tolerant and patient, they are welcoming and very good company.
I miss Cork!

Yes, the people in Cork are very friendly - and patient, which is good, because the Cork accent/dialect can be a bit hard to understand at first.
